The Unseen World

John had been under a lot of stress lately. He had just moved to a new apartment in the city and was behind on a major IT project for his company. He had been working remotely for the past few weeks, and his boss had been breathing down his neck about meeting his deadlines.

One day, as he was sitting at his desk trying to catch up on his work, his phone started ringing off the hook. It was his colleagues from work. They had heard about the problems he was having and decided to come over to his apartment to help him out.

John was grateful for the support, but he couldn't help feeling a little uneasy about having his coworkers in his personal space. He tried to focus on his work, but he kept getting distracted by the sound of someone else in the apartment.

He followed the noise to the kitchen and was horrified to find someone brewing a disgusting green potion in a large pot. The person looked up and smiled at John, offering him a drink of the potion.

John declined, but the person was insistent. He told John that the potion would allow him to see entities from another dimension that lived among us but were invisible and untouchable. John was skeptical, but he was also curious. He took a small sip of the potion and immediately regretted it.

The taste was foul, and he felt nauseous. He tried to spit it out, but it was too late. The potion had already taken effect, and John could see the creatures that had been hiding in plain sight all around him.

At first, he was fascinated by the creatures and their strange behavior. But as he continued to observe them, he realized that they were not friendly. They were terrifying, and they seemed to be aware of his presence.

John knew he had to get out of there, so he booked a flight to another country. But things only got worse. The creatures in this new place were even more aggressive and seemed to be actively hunting him.

He tried to ignore them, but they only grew more persistent. Eventually, John's mind began to unravel. He couldn't tell what was real anymore and was constantly on edge. He was convinced that the creatures were out to get him, and he started to lash out at anyone who came too close.

In the end, John was committed to a mental asylum, where he spent the rest of his days ranting and raving about the monsters that were all around us.
