John @ Serviced Houses by the Sea

My name is John, and I've been working as a cleaner for the Serviced Houses by the Sea here at the Eternal Inn for about a year now. I'm originally from our Earth, and let me tell you, it's been a wild ride adjusting to life in this interdimensional inn!

One day, I was cleaning a house for a family of tourists, and I couldn't help but notice they had some peculiar-looking pets. I mean, I've seen my fair share of exotic creatures around here, but these were something else. They looked like a cross between a squirrel and a jellyfish, and the way they floated around the room was mesmerizing.

As I continued cleaning, I noticed one of the pets seemed particularly curious about me. It would hover around me, seemingly observing my every move. I had just finished polishing the glass coffee table when the creature did something extraordinary. It stretched out one of its tentacles, and I swear it tried to help me by holding the cloth!

I chuckled to myself, and the creature seemed to take that as a sign of approval. It started assisting me throughout the house, using its other tentacles to help with dusting, wiping, and even vacuuming. I couldn't believe it! Not only was this little guy a quick learner, but he also made my job a whole lot more fun.

By the time we finished cleaning, we'd formed an unlikely bond. I thanked my new friend and said my goodbyes, knowing I'd never forget this remarkable encounter. Working at the Eternal Inn's Serviced Houses by the Sea is full of surprises, and I can't wait to see what other amazing experiences await me.
